Mad Maxine the Horrible Hag

Do you recall, in my description of ‘Blasted Fools’, where I say that civility ain’t all that and a bag of chips?  We’ll this is where the rubber meets the road.  Sometimes there are just people who, if you can’t say anything nice about them – you still have to say something.  See something, say something – remember that one?

Maxine Waters is at it again. She served as the Keynote speaker at the House District 7 Democratic Unity Dinner in Denver last night. That was the best they could find? What? Was any Democrat with an IQ at or above the mean temperature in Barrow, Alaska unavailable? Boy, talk about scraping the bottom of the barrel?  Maxine ‘Aunt Esther’ Waters, progress-o-bat from California’s 35th Congressional district, is known to be an addle headed freakshow on wheels with a long standing penchant for making statements that usually indicate that someone is off their ‘meds’. She’s especially got a Jones for the Tea Party in the worst way possible. She’s obsessed. Here are a few classics that have rolled out of Maxine’s pie hole:

“I saw pictures of Boehner and Cantor on our screens (at the convention). Don’t ever let me see again, in life, those Republicans in our hall, on our screens, talking about anything. These are demons,” she told the crowd. “They are bringing down this country, destroying this country, because they’d rather do whatever they can do destroy this president rather than for the good of this country.”

Maxine – the problem is that you saw the pictures when the screen wasn’t on.  Take your meds! Maxine, this president requires no assistance from anyone to ‘destroy’ him. He’s doing a splendid job of it himself.  All we need to do is stand back and witness the train wreck.  Here’s another gem:

After a good night sleep, I wake up the next day, and I say, ‘Come on, Tea Party, let’s get it on.’’

What????

Continuing with the ‘Satan Sandwich’ theme, she caused a bit of a stir in the wake of a ‘Community Summit’ in Inglewood, California at which the witch offered this angst laded invocation:

I’m not afraid of anybody, this is a tough game. You can’t be intimidated. You can’t be frightened. And as far as I’m concerned, the ‘tea party’ can go straight to Hell.”

So much for Obama’s call to civility!  What is a ‘Community Summit’ anyway?  Do they have tribal drums and sacrifice virgins?

‘Straight to Hell’. I’ve always found that to be an entertaining embellishment on the basic ‘Go to Hell’. To go straight to Hell, is something reminiscent of your mom telling you to go ‘straight to your room’. I wonder if she has discipline problems with her children.

Here’s a little riff that she did during a church service – once again busting a blood vessel about the Tea Party:

They came with a mean spirit, and now they want to cut the food stamps. They don’t want to fund education. They want to give all the tax breaks to the richest people. And then they’re trying to do away with the health care reform that we worked so hard for.”

There’s that business about ‘spirits’ again. Kind of spooky. I’m getting visions of shrunken heads. Oh well, that’s not remarkable, I get visions of shrunken heads whenever I see Maxine Waters, Barbara Lee, Sheila Jackson Lee, Jesse ‘What the heck did he just say’ Jackson and Al ‘Towana Brawley’ Sharpton – or any of their colleagues in the Donk party.

Heaven forbid that anyone might have the notion to clean up the economic mess so that people can get jobs again and purchase their own food and healthcare.  What a despicable notion.  No wonder the GOP’s color is Red – that’s the Devil’s color too!

I believe ‘Mad Maxine’ has also decried the corruption in the nation’s Financial sector and accused Republicans of involvement. This from a woman who is a Senior member of the House Financial Services Committee, who remains under a lengthy probe by the House Ethics Committee, of whether Waters violated House rules by pressuring the Treasury Department to provide government bailout money to a bank that her husband once owned stock in.

But here’s the pièce de résistance – the part of the movie that the fainthearted avert their eyes from:

“There has been a lot of discussion about the Ryan budget and what they have tried to do to deny contraception to women, but it’s more than that. It goes to many places in this budget. Whether you’re talking about childcare or Head Start or food stamps, you will see that there’s definitely a War on Women.

All of them who have absolutely created this war on women are now going to be taken to task by the women of this country,” she told fellow asylum escapee Ed Schultz.

The lack of shame at trivializing the real war on women that is going on in the world, just illustrates the cognitive dissonance, the intellectual vacuousness  and the moral deficit of a person like Maxine Waters.

BBC news reported today that a woman, Amina bint Abdul Halim bin Salem Nasser was beheaded on Monday in the northern province of Jawf, by the Saudi government on a conviction of ‘witchcraft and sorcery’. Human rights organizations like Amnesty International tell us that such a charge is typically a euphemism for some violation of Shariah code in Saudi Arabia having to do with a political or cultural offense.

That, Maxine – is a genuine, bonafide ‘war on women’.  Women having their heads chopped off without benefit of a trial or a defense, or anything remotely resembling due process.  Of course I can see that someone with a distorted view of reality such as yourself would have a difficult time discerning the difference.

Maxine, Maxine!  Don’t go away mad…

 just go away.
