Tea Party Terrorists

Posted on July 11, 2012

President Obama is bosom buddies with a pair of lovely individuals, Bill Ayers and his wife Bernardine Doern, who committed terrorist acts as the principals of the Weather Underground unit. That’s fine with the Legacy media, who see no conflict in a sitting President having such associations.

On the other hand, if you are a Tea Party member, a Libertarian or a social conservative – the government considers you to be a ticking time bomb, an ever present threat, a menace to society. And best of all, they spent a cool $12 million of your tax dollars to determine this.

The Department of Homeland Security, under the watchful eye of ‘Big Sis’, commissioned a study by a group called the National Consortium for the study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism, University of Maryland.  It has identified you and I as a potential terrorist. While the center that produced this report, includes a disclaimer that it’s views are not necessarily shared by the D.H.S., it does describe itself as:

The National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START) is a U.S. Department of Homeland Security Center of Excellence, tasked by the Department of Homeland Security’s Science and Technology Directorate with using state-of-the-art theories, methods, and data from the social and behavioral sciences to improve understanding of the origins, dynamics, and social and psychological impacts of terrorism.

There is an expression – silence is consent. Since DHS has not repudiated the portions of the report that defame Patriotic Americans, it is safe to assume that not only do they agree, but that the views expressed in the report are shared by the agency. Here’s how the report characterizes the category of ‘Extreme Right Wing’:

Extreme Right-Wing: groups that believe that one’s personal and/or national “way of life” is under attack and is either already lost or that the threat is imminent (for some the threat is from a specific ethnic, racial, or religious group), and believe in the need to be prepared for an attack either by participating in paramilitary preparations and training or survivalism. Groups may also be fiercely nationalistic (as opposed to universal and international in orientation), anti-global, suspicious of centralized federal authority, reverent of individual liberty, and believe in conspiracy theories that involve grave threat to national sovereignty and/or personal liberty.

So, do you see yourself anywhere in this description?  I do. I qualify as a potential Terrorist threat, because I:

  • Believe our national way of life is under attack and that the threat (Fascism, a growing Police State, and the destruction of our economy) is imminent.
  • Believe in the need to be prepared for (Martial law, Race riots and unlawful government orders to seize my constitutionally approved personal firearms).
  • Believe in training and planning for survival in the event that my family may be threatened and under siege by enemies within and without.
  • Am fiercely nationalistic.
  • Am anti – Global and One World Government.
  • Suspicious of centralized federal authority and am reverent of individual liberty.
  • Accept the possibility that a shadow government exists and has an agenda to reduce me to servitude or liquidate me if I refuse to comply.

Interestingly enough, our founding fathers would also find themselves defined as Terrorists, due to the fact that they resisted the authority of King George III and plotted and executed a rebellion against the forces of mother England, who had become a despicable abuser of human and civil rights. I picture ‘Big Sis’ and these frauds at START, conversing during the days prior to the American Revolution:

Janet Napolitano – “Hello this is Janet over at DHS. I was wondering if you might have a dossier on an individual by the name of Patrick Henry? He reportedly made an inflammatory statement along the lines of ‘Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death’. Sounds kind of threatening.”

Gary La Free (co author of the report) – certainly, we have been concerned with his activities. He seems to be ‘suspicious of centralized federal authority and is reverent of individual liberty.’

Janet Napolitano – “uh, a couple others, while I have you on the line.  A certain Thomas Jefferson is quoted as saying, ‘The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.’, and also I need a briefing on an individual known under the name of Noah Webster.  We intercepted the contents of a letter, in which he writes, Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed; as they are in almost every kingdom of Europe. The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword; because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any band of regular troops that can be, on any pretence, raised in the United States.’

Both of them sound suspiciously like members of a militia group with nationalistic leanings. It also seems certain that both may be in violation of the U.N. Small Arms Treaty”.

Gary La Free – “I agree Madam Secretary, and we’ll get the profiles on these persons over to your office as soon as they are ready.

Other than the fact that phones, the DHS and the U.N. did not exist at that time – there is no doubt that Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Paine, Patrick Henry or any number of our founding fathers would have been on a terrorist watch list. Ronald Reagan, Barry Goldwater and Ron Paul would be as well, for that matter.

Religious: groups that seek to smite the purported enemies of God and other evildoers, impose strict religious tenets or laws on society (fundamentalists), forcibly insert religion into the political sphere (e.g., those who seek to politicize religion).

[Author’s note:  Since this was written in July of 2012, we certainly have seen how there has been bleed over of this notion of conservatives and religious conservatives requiring subjection to unlawful questioning by agencies such as the IRS, delving into even personal devotional activities] – RC

This category (‘Religious’) is so broadly defined that, aside from the obvious threat – practitioners of Jihad – even social conservatives with objections to abortion and the homosexual political agenda, are viewed with extreme suspicion. By this vague and ambiguous definition, if you are a member of a group that opposes Shariah law and Islamist radicalism in America, you would be showing up on the radar screen of the DHS.

Another interesting facet of this report that your tax dollars paid for, is that the material contained within – aside from the conclusions drawn by the authors, is all open source information. There was nothing in the report that required extensive consultation with government intelligence agencies like the FBI. You could assemble the same source materials simply by data mining internet search engines.

Here’s the real mind intercourse of the whole shooting match – the report is only 37 pages in length!  Having audited the report, I can tell you that there is little to nothing of substance anywhere in the report, but especially after around page 25, it is mostly a list of references.

Why did the Department of Homeland Security even need such a report, when all of the information is readily available ‘in-house’? There is no sensible answer, but there is an answer. They wanted a report designed to defame Obama’s, Holder’s and Napolitano’s critics, but didn’t want to have their own fingerprints directly on it.

We happened to become aware of this particular travesty, but just how many Millions, perhaps Billions of dollars in the aggregate, are being spent on this worthless nonsense. Every year there are Law Enforcement, Homeland Security and Domestic Preparedness conventions in every region of this country and they always have seminars and speeches given by knowledgeable, recognized experts in the area of Counter Terrorism, and you will seldom if ever, attend any of them that present the kind of nonsensical, ludicrous and insulting conclusions about the terror threat environment as was outlined in this START report.

I’ll go out on a limb here, and further establish my ‘Right – Wing Terrorist’ credentials, simply to note that Janet Napolitano, Eric Holder and Barack Hussein / Soetero / Obama are the kind of traitors that would have been tarred and feathered by Patriots during the 1st American Revolution.

All we have to do is vote them out of office. (Update – impeach and remove them).
