Tea Party’s Over – Let’s Roll!

Posted on August 9, 2012

You are under arrest for violation of your oath of office. You have the right to remain silent.

Are the Wall Street bailouts in the Constitution?  Is Obamacare in the Constitution?  Is the Federal Reserve in the Constitution?  Are undeclared wars in the Constitution?  Illegal Immigration?  Operation Fast and Furious?   ‘Executive Orders’?  Pat downs and Scanning machines at the Airport? Random searches?  Mandatory Arbitration?  Regulating Commerce while investing in private businesses?   The Department of Education?  A President who is not a Natural Born Citizen?

Had enough yet?

I’ve only scratched the surface. The obvious answer to all of the above, along with quite a lot more is NO.

Do you want to restore America to ‘We the People’, Constitutional governance and the Rule of Law?  Should we take steps to hold our elected officials accountable for their dereliction towards and violation of their oath of office?

I sense your thoughts.  “Really, are you kidding me?  We talk about that all the time.  What else is new?  What’s your point?”

Glad you asked and that you’ve hung in with me because I’m going to reveal  the next shoe that is soon to drop, in the battle to renew liberty.  I’m also going to extend an invitation to you to participate in this history making event.

I have joined an newly formed organization known as the Constitutional Oversight Posse.  Let me provide a brief outline of the mission of COP and the method behind the action it is planning.

First of all, COP has concluded, as we Patriots, Constitutionalists and Tea Party people also have, that Congress, the Office of the President and the Federal Courts, have utterly broken faith with the American people and have violated their pledge to uphold the law of the land.

Article II, Section 4 of the Constitution reads :

The President, Vice President and all Civil Officers of the United States shall be removed from office on impeachment for and conviction of Treason, Bribery and other High Crimes and Misdemeanors.

‘Officers’ in the above clause, includes members of Congress and of the Judiciary. As such, they need to be held accountable. Normally, this accountability takes the form of elections. However, there are such infringements and transgressions that rise to a level of misconduct and wrongdoing in which the most appropriate remedy is to present charges and to attempt to place the alleged perpetrator under arrest.

That is the plan of action which forms the basis of the Constitutional Oversight Posse. There are prerequisite steps and benchmarks that need to be fulfilled beforehand. The first one is to achieve the goal of recruiting a membership base of 1 Million. Once that milestone is attained, the next phase of action will commence. Here is a summary of the process:

The COP will grow its membership until it has at least one million signed members who are eligible to vote in the United States. Membership will be contingent on members being in full agreement with the written mission, philosophy, and means of the COP. Any member misrepresenting the organization’s charter may be expelled from the organization.

Once the required membership level has been reached, the COP’s governing board will generate an initial list of violators: government officials who have violated or ignored the oath of office or who have participated in unconstitutional exercises of power. The board will then identify the representatives and senators who are legally responsible for initiating the impeachment and/or expulsion of the violators. The board will present to the identified officials an ultimatum and the list of violators who must be prosecuted. The ultimatum will set deadlines by which the prosecutorial duties must be performed. The ultimatum will inform the identified officials that failure to carry out these duties within the set time limits will, in the opinion of the COP, render the identified officials liable for arrest for violation of their oaths of office, a high crime under the Constitution.

If the COP should deem an arrest of the official is warranted, the COP will seek to have a state government authority conduct an arrest, establish bail, and set a trial date. If no state government authority will agree to carry out this responsibility, the COP will seek to have a local government authority conduct an arrest and follow-through. If no local government authority will agree to commit to this responsibility, the COP will arrange for a voluntary arrest.

In the event that a voluntary arrest must be arranged, the COP will first identify a legal body within a state or local government to whom the official to be arrested will be instructed to surrender himself or herself. This legal body will be held accountable by the COP for performing due diligence and follow-up appropriate for a case involving high crime.

No attempt at securing the arrest of an official will be conducted without the participation, at the site of the action, of at least ten- thousand members of the COP and the assent of at least a majority of the remaining members of the COP. No assault and no physical restraint may be used by COP members on the arrested official. No armaments may be illegally employed in the action. Any restraints by COP members on an arrested official’s mobility will be within the limitations of the First Amendment right to assemble.

The COP’s operations will be conducted openly with maximum access by the news media. Publicity will be sought for the sake of educating the public concerning the Supreme Law of the Land—the Constitution—and the importance of enforcing this governing document against the self-serving interests of all government officials who would violate it.

By now you would be wondering how legitimate all of this really is. One of the key measures for me personally in evaluating an emerging organization is whether they are focused on the mission itself or whether the prime focus is on fundraising.

COP is not collecting membership dues.  When I enlisted as a member, there was no solicitation for a contribution and there is none on the website. I’m sure they are not refusing donations, but this is a true grass roots movement that is being built on sweat equity among members themselves.

The board of directors do not take salaries and all professional services are being provided pro-bono or voluntarily. You can read about that in the organizational bylaws.

There are many more details provided on their website and a FAQ session. I realize that in all likelihood the public confrontation that this course of action will eventuate in, will not culminate in any dramatic ‘perp walks’.

That, in my opinion, is not a reason for not proclaiming publicly the cause of action behind the attempted arrest proceedings. We’ve had the rallys and made our positions known to America. This is where the rubber meets the road. We’ve graduated from the persuasion stage where we presented a list of grievances.

This is the public calling out of the traitors for all the world to witness. This is the full exposure of the Cockroaches who hide under the cover of the bought and paid for mainstream corporate media. The time is now for us to say boldly, with one voice “You’ve been served. You no longer can pay lip service to the Constitution you swore to uphold, while you ignore, betray and violate it incessantly.”

I believe that the mission of the Constitutional Oversight Posse is the logical and necessary next step that we need to take. This is how we shift gears from complaining among ourselves to shouting it from the rooftops.

This is also the most effective way to wake up the sleepers who are comfortably perched on top of the fence because they don’t fully grasp the magnitude of the criminal behavior being perpetrated by those who no longer hold their allegiance to the oath they have taken. Don’t ask me how people ‘comfortably’ perch on top of a fence. I don’t know how it’s possible, but they do.

Please visit the website, review it thoughtfully and carefully and consider how you can play a meaningful role in pushing back against tyranny and the corrosion of our system of law.  To visit the COP site, learn more and to enroll in the posse, click on the link below:
